Port Ellen Distillery

Port Ellen Distillery was revived and reopened in 2024 after being closed for 40 years, McLaren Plant and Contracting were involved in drainage and servicing works, as well as formation of a road and parking area.

Forming the base road consisted of pouring 600 cube of RC40 reinforced concrete, and preparing the parking area with GeoGrid ground stabilising material and Bodpave 85 to the parking bays. Installation of services and drainage, including effluent pipe works for distillery specific discharge.
